Job Summary
Direct, coordinate, and exercise functional responsibility for property management business by providing overall leadership through policy development, information flow coordination, and strategy interpretation. Manage Property Management staff, promote career paths, and resolve tenant relations issues while performing regular property inspections. Track budget variances, oversee the billing process, monitor cash flow, and ensure smooth recovery processes. Oversee construction projects with the Construction Manager, including approving contracts and invoices, and maintain interfaces with third-party owners to ensure contract compliance and accurate reporting. Prepare annual budgets and reports for owners in accordance with management agreements. Support prompt collection of management fees and reimbursements.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of real estate property management or related experience
- Possess real estate license
- Strong knowledge of finance and building operations
- Proven experience in management, evaluation, development, and motivation of subordinates
- Ability to effectively manage a team of professionals, including both employees and vendors
- Previous experience in analyzing and negotiating commercial lease and/or contract language
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Regularly required to travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions
- Regularly required to remain in a stationary position (sit or stand) for 85% of the time
- Regularly operate office machinery
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related discipline preferred
- CPM, RPA, or CSM designation
