Senior Property Claims Examiner - REMOTE

Job Summary
Adjudicate claims from initial intake to final settlement, handling large loss, complex, and general property claims in compliance with state-specific regulations and K2 Claims' best practices. Respond to claim calls, emails, and requests from agents while reviewing and negotiating emergency service estimates with vendors. Evaluate and consider all subrogation and salvage opportunities to efficiently resolve cases using available tools. Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, remote environment with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of adjusting/examining homeowner claims in California from an in-house adjusting/examining role
- experience in handling Large Loss/Complex Claims
- experience in handling Commercial Claims
- proper state licensing
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a business or insurance-related major
- Exhibit general property and construction knowledge
- Exceptional customer service focus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent knowledge in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Flexibility for occasional business travel
