Job Summary
Senior Property Claims Examiner responsible for investigating and settling property and first party claims and third-party claims, evaluating coverage and making policy decisions, negotiating settlements for collision, property damage and transportation losses, managing outside adjusters and experts, understanding liability and coverage principles, and ensuring compliance with state laws and regulations across the United States. Must maintain licenses with continuing education, possess strong written and verbal communication, and be capable of handling high-volume claims in a remote US-capable role.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience with Property Claims required
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Experience with Lloyd’s of London is considered an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Able to be licensed in states, countries where necessary
- AIC designation preferred
- Strong writing skills and grammar for written status reports
- Document claim file notes clearly with communications and activities
