Job Summary
Senior Property Adjuster (Commercial Property Claims) who will commute within the Boston, MA territory and frequently travel to property sites to investigate and assess loss/damage across a range of commercial classes. Responsibilities include conducting property inspections, coordinating with architects/engineers/subject-matter experts, preparing concise reports, communicating with insureds, claimants, carriers, brokers, and managing agents, and applying knowledge of property policy interpretations and loss estimation. Proficiency with Xactimate and strong written/verbal communication skills are required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred and active licensure in the assigned state(s) is needed, with designations such as CPCU, ARM, AIC, or AINS as desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- 6-10 years’ experience in commercial property loss adjusting
- Active license, or ability to promptly obtain such, in the assigned state(s)
- One or more of the following designations preferred: CPCU, ARM, AIC, AINS
