Senior Property Accountant

Prepare monthly financial statements, supporting schedules, and bank reconciliations for commercial and multifamily properties. Reconcile mortgage escrow accounts, journal entries including accruals and depreciation, and balance sheet items. Record closing transactions, calculate owner distributions, and monitor cash flow and accounts payable. Validate management fee calculations, assist with year-end audit and tax reporting, and develop cash forecasts for liquidity planning. Support property onboarding by recording prior manager activity and monitoring sensitive vendors. Train and support team members while collaborating with accounting and property management teams to address owner inquiries.
