Senior Property Accountant

Job Summary
Prepare monthly financial statements, journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analyses. Manage treasury activities, including monthly cash flow analysis, while supporting annual CAM and real estate tax budgets. Assist with accounts payable, receivable, lease administration, and audit workpapers for internal, external, and tenant reviews. Review complex lease agreements, commission calculations, and capital projects alongside lender funding requests. This role offers broad exposure to property accounting, leases, and capital projects within a diverse commercial real estate portfolio.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience within commercial real estate or property management
- Strong knowledge of tenant leases, CAM/operating expense recoveries, and rent collection procedures
- Strong proficiency with MRI
- Proficiency in Excel and commercial real estate accounting systems
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
