Job Summary
Lead and manage transportation planning and traffic analysis projects from proposal through completion. Serve as a key point of contact for clients and project stakeholders. Prepare and oversee technical studies and documentation, including transportation impact analyses, mobility and multimodal planning studies, environmental review documentation as applicable, and parking and access evaluations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of civil engineering, environmental, and land development professionals. Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and staffing plans. Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance and quality control. Present findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders. Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation and client engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Planning, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field
- 12+ years of relevant experience in transportation planning and/or traffic engineering
- Professional licensure (PE, TE, or similar) required
- In-depth knowledge of transportation planning principles, policies, and analytical methodologies
- Experience with transportation analysis tools and GIS platforms is preferred
- Demonstrated project management and client management experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
