Job Summary
Supervise and manage field construction activities for multiple concurrent projects from planning through completion, ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Act as the primary on-site liaison with owners, architects, and engineers to coordinate all field operations, resolve challenges, and lead, mentor, and evaluate field staff. Develop and implement project schedules, manage site logistics, and oversee billing, payroll, and material invoices to maintain strict budget control. Develop and manage the site safety program, ensuring subcontractor compliance with Turner safety standards and codes, while serving as the Stormwater Compliance Coordinator. Implement mock-ups, conduct testing and reviews, and document field issues affecting budget, quality, or schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 15 years in building construction
- at least 4 years of related supervisory or training experience
- Proficient knowledge of building systems, construction means and methods, materials, codes, and compliance requirements
- Skilled in reading and interpreting contract documents, drawings, and specifications
- Strong command of construction cost control, accounting procedures, and scheduling software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional leadership, management, and communication skills, both verbal and written
