Senior Project Superintendent

Job Summary
Oversee field operations on complex commercial construction projects, managing subcontractor activities, scheduling, quality control, and site logistics to ensure safe, on-time delivery. Direct daily construction activities, coordinate project sequencing, and resolve field challenges while communicating progress and design issues with project managers and owners. Develop and maintain project schedules using software like SureTrak or Oracle Primavera Cloud, manage field labor cost-effectively, and enforce safety policies. This role requires climbing ladders, observing active sites, and working in moderate to extreme outdoor conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of 10+ years of relevant commercial construction experience
- Ability to climb an extension ladder at least 20 feet high
- Ability to visually and audibly observe activities occurring on construction jobsites
- Ability to communicate professionally with management, project teams, subcontractors, owners, inspectors, and visitors
- Ability to coordinate field labor and project resources in a cost-effective manner
- Ability to clearly document and communicate project progress, field activities, and construction issues
- Strong organizational, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively direct subcontractors and field personnel
- Ability to manage complex construction projects while maintaining schedule, quality, and safety expectations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods, sequencing, quality control, and jobsite safety practices
- Experience managing industrial projects ranging from 50,000 to 500,000 square feet
- Experience with commercial, multi-family, and mixed-use construction projects
- Experience with SureTrak, Phoenix, P3, P6, Oracle Primavera Cloud, or similar scheduling software
- Experience demonstrating proficiency in scheduling software including SureTrak, Phoenix, P3, P6, Oracle Primavera Cloud, or similar platforms
- Demonstrated experience managing project schedules and coordinating multiple trades on complex projects
- Working knowledge and experience in all phases of construction, including multi-story projects
Desired Qualifications
- Experience managing industrial projects ranging from 50,000 to 500,000 square feet preferred
- Experience with SureTrak, Phoenix, P3, P6, Oracle Primavera Cloud, or similar scheduling software preferred
