Job Summary
Senior Project Specialist, Clinical Supplies at Moderna plays a pivotal role in the end-to-end operational execution of clinical supply activities across the clinical development portfolio. You will support labeling, packaging, distribution, and shipment of investigational products to depots and investigative sites, coordinate with packaging/labeling vendors, IRT providers, CROs, and internal stakeholders, and execute UAT for IRT systems. The role emphasizes monitoring inventory, tracking packaging and distribution by third-party vendors, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance, managing temperature excursions, and contributing to continuous improvement and digital initiatives within clinical supply operations. The position emphasizes collaboration, attention to detail, and the ability to work across cross-functional teams, with Moderna advocating an in-office culture and a 70/30 in-office work model.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of clinical drug supply management, clinical supply chain, hospital pharmacy, pharmacy experience or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in a science-based subject is preferred
- IRT design and management experience preferred
- Prior Cold Chain packaging, labeling, distribution experience preferred
- Experience with Clinical Supply Inventory Management systems preferred
- Attention to detail
- Experience in maintaining relationships with vendors preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) preferred
Desired Qualifications
