Job Summary
Create and update CPM schedules at all project phases from conceptual to close-out, coordinating directly with project superintendents. Conduct review meetings for proposal, baseline, and update phases while developing proposal schedules from estimating data and historical databases. Manage schedule performance for claims analysis and incorporate design conflicts into the plan. Produce final as-built schedules and deliver monthly status reports to the general manager. Maintain the historical CPM schedule database and revise weekly schedules based on superintendent reports. Requires five or more years of CPM scheduling experience in construction, a four-year degree in construction management or engineering, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills
- Five years or more of CPM scheduling experience in similar types of construction
- Four-year construction management or engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience
- Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs
- Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, and methods), scheduling systems, negotiations, engineering and cost control schedules
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment
- Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures
- Will lift, push or pull objects up to 50Ibs on an occasional basis
- Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/workday
