Job Summary
Develop and update summary and detailed schedules for multiple concurrent heavy civil and infrastructure projects. Review consultant and contractor-prepared schedules to provide analysis to stakeholders, while assigning resources and developing cash flow reports. Evaluate critical and near-critical path sequences, determine schedule logic, and assess actual progress based on on-site inspections. Create earned value reports, identify major milestones, and prepare post-construction as-built schedules and lessons learned reports. Requires ten years of experience in transportation projects, proficiency in Primavera P6, and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Ten years' relevant experience
- Strong technical, organizational, and coordination skills
- Ability to provide independent schedule analysis, contractor schedule review, and executive summary reporting
- Must have a strong understanding of CPM (Critical Path Method) concepts and calculations
- Strong understanding of earned value concepts, calculations, and rules of credit
- Must be highly articulate
- Must have a clear and analytical approach to problem-solving
- Must have strong decision-making abilities
- Must have excellent communication and presentation skills
- Advanced knowledge in Primavera (P6)
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Strong technical, organizational, and time management skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with transportation projects including sidewalks, streetscapes, intersection improvements, bridge, and roadway improvements
