Seeking a highly organized Senior Project Scheduler to create and maintain project schedules. Responsibilities include collaborating with project managers and the project team, setting tasks, monitoring project timelines, and evaluating progress against planned forecasts. Ideal candidates should possess industry knowledge in automation, oil & gas, or construction, alongside demonstrable experience in project scheduling. Key skills include advanced schedule planning, analytical abilities, and proficiency in project scheduling software.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years as a Project Scheduler in Automation, Oil & Gas, or construction
- Degree or experiential equivalent in Project Management, Engineering or related field
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in application scheduling techniques such as Earned Value, PERT analysis, and Critical Chain
- Advanced proficiency in project scheduling software, specifically MS Project and Project Server
- Project Management (PMP or APM) or Project Schedule Qualification (PMI-SP)
Additional Requirements
- Must be willing to travel to various customer and project sites regularly
- 100% onsite work may be required during critical project phases
