Job Summary
Lead procurement activities for a major industrial project in Indonesia, coordinating efforts from engineering through construction execution. Prepare and manage Material Requisitions, procurement packages, and supporting documentation while supporting RFQ processes and technical bid evaluations. Monitor procurement progress, expediting activities, and material deliveries to ensure critical equipment is delivered safely and in line with project schedules. Identify procurement risks and implement mitigation strategies to support project delivery. Coordinate closely with engineers, vendors, fabricators, logistics providers, and client supply chain teams. Manage interfaces across engineering, project controls, fabrication, and construction groups while supporting continuous improvement of procurement systems and workflows.
Required Qualifications
- A degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Construction Management, or a related discipline
- Minimum 8–10 years' experience in procurement, supply chain, EPC, EPCM, construction, industrial, energy, mining, or infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated experience managing procurement packages for major capital projects
- Experience preparing Material Requisitions, tender documentation, bid evaluations, procurement plans, and supplier engagement activities
- Strong understanding of procurement interfaces with engineering, fabrication, logistics, construction, and project controls
- Experience managing long-lead equipment, fabricated materials, and critical-path procurement activities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Good commercial awareness and problem-solving capability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in EPC or EPCM project environments
- Experience with SAP, ERP systems, procurement tracking platforms, or project controls systems
- Experience managing fabrication, subcontractors, and supplier performance
- Experience in industrial, mining, metals, energy, food & beverage, manufacturing, or infrastructure sectors
- Experience leading procurement teams or coordinating multidisciplinary project stakeholders
