Job Summary
Senior Project Planner responsible for developing and maintaining integrated project schedules, performing cost forecasting, and supporting project controls across infrastructure initiatives. Role includes leading meetings, acting as a right-hand to the Project Manager, defining work breakdown structures (WBS), monitoring progress against baselines, conducting variance analysis, and preparing cost and schedule forecasts. Requires experience with MS Project and Primavera P6, Earned Value monitoring, and ability to generate dashboards and executive summaries for stakeholders. Will review subcontract commitments, assist with cost reporting, and support procurement and funding alignment to ensure projects meet budget and schedule targets.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in project planning and cost control
- Experience with MS Project and Primavera P6
- Knowledge of earned value management and cost/schedule integration
- Ability to lead meetings and support a Project Manager
- Strong understanding of WBS, schedules, and change management
- Proactive mindset and stakeholder communication skills
