Senior Project Officer, Smoking and Vaping - Expression of Interest

Job Summary
Lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of smoking and vaping prevention and reduction projects across Aboriginal communities in NSW; develop and coordinate a Community of Practice with Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs) to strengthen collaboration, workforce capability and knowledge sharing; engage with ACCHOs, Aboriginal communities, peak bodies, government agencies and research institutions to ensure community voice informs policy and program design; prepare high-quality briefs, reports, submissions and policy advice on tobacco control, vaping regulation and emerging trends; support advocacy and contribute to policy development related to tobacco control and vaping legislation in NSW and nationally; undertake research, consultation and evidence translation to inform program and policy approaches; manage project reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with KPIs, funding obligations and organisational standards; coordinate stakeholder meetings, consultations and sector forums, ensuring effective participation and outcomes; maintain accurate, timely and accessible project documentation and reporting materials; travel across NSW as required.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications in Public Health, Health Promotion, Community Development, Policy or related discipline (desirable)
