Job Summary
Langan is seeking a Senior Project Manager to manage waterfront projects, providing expertise in waterfront resiliency and overseeing permit applications. Key responsibilities include coordinating waterfront inspections, identifying business opportunities, and managing design work for various waterfront structures. The successful candidate will lead project teams, prepare technical documents, and develop client relationships. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree with relevant work experience, proven project management skills, and a desire to pursue new business opportunities. Candidates should have over seven years of experience in marine environments and business development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and waterfront/resiliency work experience required
- 7+ years of related waterfront/marine experience
- 7+ years’ experience in business development
- Proven experience in project management including writing proposals and managing clients
- Demonstrated ability to work with staff, clients, and regulatory agencies
- Ability to coach and assist with the management of staff
- Possess reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in structural, geotechnical, or coastal engineering preferred
- Strong understanding of codes and other regulatory requirements
- Possess an entrepreneurial and professional demeanor
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal and social skills
