Senior Project Manager, Water/Wastewater

Job Summary
Partner with leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan focused on short- and long-term growth. Lead service-specific proposal efforts, provide technical expertise, and drive innovation in project approaches. Manage the design and delivery of projects in a profitable manner while supervising engineers and technical support personnel. Prepare, maintain, and coordinate schedules of multiple concurrent projects, developing work plans and budget projections to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Represent clients and the firm in meetings with governmental agencies, negotiate contract terms, and resolve design conflicts and field construction issues. Implement QA/QC procedures and review submittals and RFIs. Grow, mentor, and train staff while leveraging industry insights to enhance service offerings.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive experience in design, management, and business development
- at least 6 of those years in water/wastewater engineering
- be licensed Professional Civil Engineers in Texas (or eligible within 6 months)
- possess a strong project management and team leadership background
- BS in Civil Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas (or capable of obtaining within 6 months)
- 6+ years of experience in water/wastewater engineering
- Leader with experience in project management, team building, and technical leadership
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a deep understanding of the water/wastewater consulting business
- Proven track record in operations, business development, and technical project management within the water/wastewater or related sectors
- Ability to travel as needed to project sites and other Westwood offices nationwide
