Senior Project Manager – Water/Wastewater

Job Summary
Develop project scopes, fee estimates, budgets, and contracts while defining phases, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies to lead multidisciplinary teams through complex municipal water, wastewater, and infrastructure projects. Direct project delivery on schedule and within budget, manage scope changes and change orders, and monitor performance to identify efficiencies and improve project outcomes. Build strong client partnerships by serving as the primary technical contact, representing the firm in council sessions and public presentations, and identifying opportunities for additional services. Own financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, billing, and profitability analysis while mentoring staff and fostering a collaborative learning environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the State of Texas
- Has actively served in a Project Manager role for a minimum of 7 years
- Progressive experience leading the planning, design, and construction oversight of municipal water, wastewater, and/or water resources projects for public sector clients
- Demonstrated success managing multiple projects, budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams simultaneously
- Experience mentoring engineering staff and fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented team environment
- Proven ability to manage project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability
- Direct experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Client Relationship Management (CRM) software applications, like Deltek
- Strong client relationship skills with a history of repeat business and expanding client service opportunities
- A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify efficiencies, improve project delivery processes, and enhance team performance
- Active participation in professional organizations
- Ability to travel and meet with clients both virtually and in person as needed
