Job Summary
Lead planning, execution, and delivery of multiple high-value mechanical construction projects from pre-construction through close-out. Drive pre-construction efforts including estimating support, scope definition, and constructability reviews while developing and managing project budgets, schedules, and procurement strategies. Serve as the executive point of contact for clients, general contractors, engineers, and stakeholders to guide project management teams and approve contracts, change orders, and submittals. Monitor performance metrics for productivity, cost, risk, and cash flow while partnering with field leadership to ensure safe installations and resolve complex design or logistics challenges. Support strategic initiatives such as Lean construction and assist in hiring top project management talent. Requires 8–10+ years of experience managing commercial mechanical projects with a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering.
Required Qualifications
- 8–10+ years of experience managing mechanical construction projects in a commercial or industrial setting
- Proven track record of leading multi-million-dollar projects to successful completion
- Expert knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, piping systems, and construction sequencing
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets, forecasts, and contract compliance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and project management software (Procore, Viewpoint, etc.)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and team leadership skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel to project sites and regional offices as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
