Job Summary
Lead multiple complex solar and energy storage projects from Notice to Proceed through Commercial Operation, managing schedules, budgets, and procurement coordination. Oversee contractual negotiations, subcontractor oversight, and quality control while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and certified payroll requirements. Provide strategic direction and mentorship to internal Project Managers, facilitating cross-functional collaboration between Development, Engineering, and Portfolio Operations teams. Maintain key stakeholder relationships with utilities and authorities having jurisdiction to resolve high-level risks and drive project success. Requires 6+ years of solar project management experience with 15-25% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or other quantitative educational background, or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant solar or energy storage project management experience (Solar PV, Energy Storage, or Electrical sectors)
- Superior oral and written communication skills, tailored for higher-level stakeholder engagement
- Advanced ability to drive project teams and entities to success, ensuring deadlines and goals are met
- Leadership in fostering a collaborative environment and proactive approach to seeking information and research
- Expert in complex problem-solving abilities, including navigating challenging project scenarios and leading innovative solutions
- Detail oriented while capable of seeing and understanding the full picture
- Collaborate as part of a broader project management team to include, mentor, and develop others
- 15-25% Travel to Project Sites

- comprehensive knowledge of C&I or community solar components, installation methods, quality control, best practices, AHJ/Utility process and communication requirements, regulatory standards, scheduling, budget tracking and forecasting, progress payment schedules, subcontracting, risk management, and closeout packages
