Job Summary
Develop detailed designs, prepare and implement project plans, and research estimates for transportation projects. Review government regulations and ordinances, then make recommendations or present alternative solutions to complex problems. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to produce technically complex design plans and reports while coordinating with technicians and administrative staff. Interact with staff, general public, officials, and contractors to support project delivery. Requires FDOT design experience, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, and a Florida PE license preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must have experience with Microstation
- Must have FDOT design experience
- Capable of roadway plans production
- Ability to multi-task under rigid deadlines
- Independent personality, pro-active, enthusiastic, self-starter with a good attitude who pays attention to details and is willing to work in a supportive, fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- ability to work with clients and colleagues at all levels
Desired Qualifications
- Florida PE license preferred
