Job Summary
Senior Project Manager – Traffic/Transportation Operations leading and supporting traffic operations and transportation engineering projects in California. Responsibilities include managing projects from planning through implementation, serving as primary client contact, overseeing traffic signal timing/coordination, ITS, traffic operations studies, multimodal/Complete Streets initiatives, and coordinating with agencies and contractors. Develop scopes, schedules, budgets, and staffing plans; provide guidance and quality control for junior staff; present findings to clients; support business development and proposals. Requires PE/TE licensure and 10+ years of relevant experience; offers full-time employment with a comprehensive compensation package in a California office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of relevant transportation engineering and/or traffic operations experience
- Professional licensure (PE, TE, or similar) required
- Demonstrated knowledge of traffic operations principles and methodologies
- Experience with traffic analysis tools and industry software is preferred
- Proven experience managing projects, budgets, and client relationships
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
