Job Summary
Manage transportation projects involving highway, bridge, and traffic improvements by coordinating with local, agency, and state staff, as well as internal task leaders. Review, manage, and sign/seal plans and reports while possessing working knowledge of environmental clearance, permitting, and utility clearance. Lead pre-bid activities including tabulation sheets, construction schedules, and cost estimates. Mentor junior staff and actively participate in business development through meetings, networking, and technical proposals. Maintain a valid driver's license and strong communication skills to interact effectively with officials and teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania
- Project Management experience for PennDOT and/or PA Turnpike projects
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with local, agency, and state staff and officials
- Ability to manage staff and coordinate effectively in a team-based atmosphere
- Strong work ethic, positive can-do attitude, and ability to multitask
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid Driver's License
