Job Summary
Senior Project Manager responsible for the delivery of large capital projects typically exceeding $25M in construction value and/or a portfolio exceeding $75M in cumulative construction value. Manages complex multi-disciplinary projects from inception through design and construction to substantial performance, close-out and warranty, with oversight of contract accordance, quality assurance, budget and schedule control, code compliance, and coordination with clients and stakeholders. Responsibilities include preparing procurement documentation, managing contracts for consultants and contractors, leading internal teams (design staff, Construction Coordinators, and administrative staff) on large projects, and performing capital planning and design reviews for new buildings, major additions, or renovations to align technically and architecturally with over 150 campus buildings totaling 7.1M square feet. Requires deep technical knowledge across architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines; minimum experience 7+ years if licensed or 12+ years if unlicensed; degree in architectural/engineering discipline with facilities/construction focus; professional designation such as CET, OAA or P.Eng preferred.
