Job Summary
Senior Project Manager overseeing all phases of residential construction projects in Vancouver, BC. Responsible for defining project scope, goals and deliverables; leading planning and implementation; coordinating with clients and consultants; developing and monitoring full-scale project plans; managing budgets and resources; tendering and awarding scopes of work using pre-approved subcontracts; ensuring OH&S compliance and building code adherence; leading project teams with strong communication and time-management skills; proficient with Microsoft Project, Outlook, Excel, Word, and ProCore; skilled in contract administration and negotiation.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of construction experience, preferably multi-family
- 5+ years of experience in wood frame, residential construction
- At least 10 years of direct work experience in construction project management
- A post secondary degree or diploma in construction, building technology or engineering
- A Gold Seal Constructor or PMP designation; or are working towards it
- Proven ability to lead a project and support staff
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Outlook, Excel, Word and ProCore
- Understand the fundamentals of contract administration
- Knowledge of OH&S regulations and related building codes is essential
- Demonstrated success in project delivery and execution of project management methods
- Highly effective in negotiation, diplomacy, and conflict resolutions skills
