Job Summary
Senior Project Manager leading planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution for residential multifamily and commercial projects in Kelowna, BC. Focus on contract and subcontract management, procurement, and leading project teams; maintain client/consultant/stakeholder relationships; oversee cost control, forecasting, cash flow, and reporting; identify and mitigate project risks; oversee project closeout and post-project reviews. Requires expertise in construction contracts, budgets, schedules, document control, and proficiency with Procore, scheduling tools (e.g., Microsoft Project), and Excel; ability to mentor teams, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred
- 10+ years of experience in construction project management
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven experience managing large, complex, or high value projects
- Experience with residential, multi family, and commercial projects
- Familiar with Construction Management, Design Build, and Stipulated Sum delivery methods
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, budgets, schedules, and cost controls
- Experience with project management and document control systems
- High level of accuracy with strong attention to detail
- Procore
- Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tools
- Microsoft Excel
- Contract management, RFIs, submittals, change management, and reporting software
- Proven ability to lead and mentor project teams
- Strong client facing communication and relationship management skills
- Ability to make clear, timely decisions
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
- Results driven with a high level of accountability
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Experience with cost control, forecasting, cash flow, and reporting
