Job Summary
Senior Project Manager for Water/Wastewater infrastructure projects in Mississauga, responsible for executing projects, developing schedules, managing budgets and billings, overseeing contract administration and documentation, and coordinating on-site trades to ensure timely, on-budget delivery. Acts as primary liaison with clients, designers, site superintendents, subtrades and other stakeholders; organizes project teams; oversees internal/external contractors; manages RFIs, submittals, and change orders; prepares costings and manages expenses and vendor agreements. Key qualifications include 8–12 years in water/wastewater for a general contractor, 10 years of leadership in construction, direct PM experience on projects >$30M CAD, valid Ontario P.Eng, and proficiency with Primavera P6 or MS Project; PMP/LEED is a plus. Strong vendor/subcontractor relationships and commissioning/start-up experience across mechanical, electrical, and process systems.
Required Qualifications
- Eight (8) to Twelve (12) years of direct experience in Water/Wastewater infrastructure projects working for a general contractor in a lump sum bid environment
- Have at least ten (10) years of leadership experience in a construction environment
- Have direct project management experience in vertical Water/Wastewater construction projects valued over $30 million CAD
- Hold a valid P.Eng certification in Ontario
- Project Management Professional or LEEDS certifications are an asset
- Strong working relationships with vendors, subcontractors and stakeholders
- Possess strong project scheduling skills using Primavera P6 or MS Project
- Have commissioning and start up experience of complex mechanical, electrical, and process systems.
