Job Summary
Lead end-to-end execution of tool install design projects, managing scope, schedule, and budget from initial specifications through final client handover. Develop detailed installation schedules to support critical "First Tool" and "Ready for Equipment" milestones, acting as the primary contact between design teams, contractors, and clients to resolve space and utility conflicts. Maintain strict budget control, manage change orders, and enforce EHS standards and cleanroom protocols for all activities. Proactively mitigate risks related to utility capacity and seismic requirements while driving continuous improvement initiatives and mentoring junior project managers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related technical discipline)
- Demonstrated project management experience, with a significant portion focused on the design of industrial, advanced technology, or high-tech manufacturing facilities (e.g., semiconductor fabrication plants, data centers, pharmaceutical manufacturing)
- 10+ years of demonstrated Project Management experience in an advanced technology or high-tech engineering projects
- Demonstrated proficiency with project scheduling software, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar
- Experience with resource loading and critical path analysis
- Demonstrated success leading cross-cultural, cross-time-zone project teams, adept at tailoring communication styles and governance to diverse audiences
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts effectively with various stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and develop effective solutions
- Ability to perform field verifications and site walks in industrial environments, including the ability to navigate construction sites and potentially access elevated areas
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related technical discipline) preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desired
- 10+ years of demonstrated Project Management experience in an advanced technology or high-tech engineering projects is preferred
