Job Summary

Lead the successful delivery of advanced Interior Sensing software programs for global automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers by acting as the primary interface between customers and internal cross-functional teams. Manage program plans, schedules, deliverables, risks, and budgets while coordinating execution across Engineering, Product Owners, Validation, Data Management, and Customer Support. Proactively identify execution risks, drive mitigation for timely releases and demos, and lead customer escalations to ensure solution-oriented resolution. Coordinate customer requirements and change requests with Product and Sales, assess impact on scope and resources, and maintain executive-level reporting. This role reports to the Chief Technology Officer at Smart Eye AB in Gothenburg, supporting the global market for Driver Monitoring Systems.

Required Qualifications

  • At least Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Management, or a related field
  • 5+ years of automotive project/program management, including customer-facing software development programs
  • Proven experience working with OEM and Tier-1 customers and managing multiple complex projects
  • Strong understanding of automotive development processes and product lifecycle management
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced customer environments and proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, or similar
  • Communication skills with fluency in both Swedish and English
  • Since we are working on a global market there will be opportunities to travel and meet with customers

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with DMS, OMS, ADAS, computer vision, AI/ML, mathematics or related automotive safety technologies
  • Technical background in software, systems engineering, embedded systems, or automotive electronics
  • Familiarity with automotive standards and processes such as ASPICE, ISO 26262, software release management, change management, and requirements traceability
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification
  • Other languages are a merit
