Job Summary
Senior Project Manager for the Central Government and Law Enforcement (CGLE) team within Roke, responsible for delivering a wide range of projects from concept to completion across R&D, product development, software delivery, and advisory services. Lead bid development and delivery, manage project financials (revenue, cash, profit) for fixed-price and T&M work, and build collaborative relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and partners. Coordinate with resourcing, document and manage requirements, create and maintain project plans, and proactively manage risks. Requires extensive stakeholder management, experience with complex government/NS domain projects up to £5m, and eligibility for SC/DV clearance. Based in Woking (Surrey) or Romsey (Hampshire) with in-person remote arrangement, and located in the UK government-focused delivery environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in delivering projects from concept to completion
- Financial management of projects (revenue, cash, profit) for fixed-price and T&M
- Pre-sale/bid delivery experience
- Ability to build relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and partners
- Experience managing resources and leading project teams
- Proven ability to document and manage requirements and dependencies
- Risk management experience including maintaining risk registers
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Understanding of project lifecycle and engineering methods
- Eligibility to achieve SC/DV clearance
