Job Summary
Senior Project Manager leads and manages complex transportation engineering projects from planning through delivery, driving financial performance, client satisfaction, and team development. Responsibilities include defining and monitoring project scope and fee, ensuring work aligns with contract, using PM tools to track tasks and timelines, supervising design task assignments, preparing calculations and submittals, effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders, coordinating with multiple disciplines, addressing client needs, conducting constructability reviews and peer reviews, possibly serving as Engineer of Record, building client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, participating in project meetings with clients and subconsultants, negotiating and executing contracts with clients and subconsultants, coordinating with project accountants on budgeting, invoicing, and collections, managing CRM for opportunities and pursuits, leading proposal management and marketing efforts, coaching and mentoring team members, assessing skills gaps, forecasting personnel needs, and ensuring timely timekeeping and expense reporting. Requires Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering, Professional Engineer (PE), and 15+ years of PM experience on related projects. This is a Senior-level role within Parsons’ Critical Infrastructure team. Salary range: $134,100 - $241,400. Location-specific postings in Florida (Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville). This role emphasizes leadership, client management, financial stewardship, and cross-disciplinary coordination to deliver transportation projects successfully.
