Job Summary
Provide overall leadership and oversight for multiple HVAC construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, managing planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk allocation. Monitor performance against schedules and budgets, approve financials including change orders and billing, and resolve escalated issues with corrective action plans. Directly supervise and mentor Project Managers and Coordinators, conduct evaluations, and support recruitment and succession planning. Build relationships with customers, contractors, and partners to secure work and maintain client satisfaction. Lead monthly review meetings presenting forecasts and metrics to senior leadership while driving process improvements and safety compliance.
Required Qualifications
- 8-10 years of progressively responsible project management experience in HVAC, mechanical construction, or a related construction industry
- Minimum 3-5 years of leadership or supervisory experience managing project management personnel
- Demonstrated success managing complex projects and multiple project teams simultaneously
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- ability to meet company vehicle operation standards
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Equivalent combination of education, trade experience, and leadership experience
