Job Summary
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for day-to-day management, coordination, and control of various projects/contracts, overseeing projects with a value between $2,000 and $500,000, and ensuring quality work within established timelines and budgets. Key responsibilities include project management, estimating, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, business development, and safety compliance.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years’ experience in the construction industry with a commercial or industrial general contractor
- Extensive experience managing and coordinating multiple projects as well as managing personnel, subcontractors, and vendors
- Very experienced in producing detailed fixed price estimates; has the ability to use RS Means or other published unit price books to produce detailed line-item estimates
- Extensive knowledge of construction means and methods
- Effective negotiating skills
