Job Summary

Senior Project Manager – Rail & Transit based in Seattle leads complex rail and transit projects from inception through completion, overseeing integrated engineering and construction teams, coordinating contractors, consultants, and clients, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Responsible for budgeting, scheduling, technical oversight, contract administration and performance evaluation to meet milestones. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management, a WA PE license, and 15+ years of experience managing large civil/rail transit projects (including 5+ years in light rail). Proficient in MS Office and project management software with strong communication, technical writing, and presentation skills; experience with contract negotiation and closeout; knowledge of U.S. rail and transit markets; preferred experience with alternative delivery methods such as design-build, CM/GC, or P3.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management
  • PE license in Washington State (required)
  • At least 15 years managing large civil engineering projects
  • At least 5 years managing light rail transit projects
  • Proficient in MS Office and project management software
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Skilled in technical writing and presentations
  • Experienced in contract negotiation and closeout
  • Knowledgeable about U.S. rail and transit markets
