Senior Project Manager (R&D New Projects)

Job Summary
Lead the delivery of new powertrain development projects, ensuring Quality, Cost and Timing objectives while managing project quotations, feasibility assessments, and technical/economic scoping. Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to drive project convergence and monitor risks, budgets, investments, and supplier performance. Ensure achievement of milestones, deliverables, regulatory compliance, and product safety requirements. Support business development activities and act as the engineering interface with new customers. Lead and develop Project Leaders within the team, providing direction and governance. Drive innovation initiatives, technology roadmaps, and collaboration with suppliers, universities, start-ups, and research partners. This role requires a proven track record in powertrain development and complex new product programs, with willingness to travel regularly to China.
Required Qualifications
- A proven track record in powertrain development and automotive project management, including leadership of complex new product development programs
- Outstanding stakeholder management, negotiation and team leading skills, with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly
- Strong competencies in risk and opportunity management and project governance, with a collaborative approach
- Knowledge of the automotive sector, Horse Powertrain business, and our ambition to transform the industry
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Chinese, Spanish and/or French
- Willingness to travel regularly to China
