Job Summary
Manage complex medium and high voltage electrical projects including transmission, distribution, and substation construction and maintenance in Hubbard, OR. Establish and maintain relationships with field leaders, owners, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure safe, on-time completion. Develop, implement, and track resource-loaded project schedules, budgets, and production goals while managing subcontractors and negotiating contract terms. Lead project kickoffs, mobilization, closeout, and demobilization activities. Identify and mitigate project risks, develop and enforce Project Specific Safety Plans and Quality Plans, and mentor project management team members. Requires 5+ years of construction project management experience, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and ability to travel short-term. Salary range $150,000-$170,000.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management experience in the construction industry
- Ability to write business correspondence and communicate effectively
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and identify constructability issues
- Must be willing to travel, short-term
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from other managers, clients, customers, and local permitting agencies
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite, with strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Must pass mandatory drug and alcohol screening(s)
- Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's degree or relevant experience is preferred
- High-voltage construction experience
- PMP Certification
