Job Summary
Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, strategic change initiatives in the UK insurance sector, shaping initiatives with the Transformation Office, developing compelling business cases that articulate benefits, costs, and risks, and aligning delivery across multiple workstreams. Drive governance, financial oversight, and risk management while coordinating cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver projects on time and within scope and budget. Build trusted relationships at senior levels, define delivery roadmaps, and ensure value realisation and a smooth transition to BAU. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience leading complex change or transformation initiatives
- Experience in UK insurance environment or similar regulated industry
- Strong financial acumen with budget management and forecasting
- Proven ability to manage large budgets and drive value-focused outcomes
- Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior executives
- Experience leading cross-functional teams including third-party suppliers
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex messages at executive level
- Programme/Project Management qualifications desirable (e.g., PMI/PRINCE2)
