Job Summary
Senior Project Manager delivering complex, multidisciplinary infrastructure and buildings projects in the South Island from initiation through procurement, design, consenting, construction and handover. Lead projects, maintain strong client relationships, apply governance, risk and financial controls to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery, mentor junior team members, and contribute to capability development. Knowledge of NZS 391X contracts and experience as Engineer’s Representative/Contract Administrator preferred. Based in Christchurch with opportunities to collaborate across NZ infrastructure initiatives with Beca’s South Island and national teams.
Required Qualifications
- 8–15 years of demonstrated experience in infrastructure, buildings and utilities environment
- Tertiary qualifications aligned to construction project management consulting
- Experience in design management, project planning and delivery, and strategic infrastructure advice
- Strong relationship-building skills and commercial judgement
- A proactive attitude and a passion for working with a broad range of stakeholders
- Collaborative and innovative approach, with a good sense of humour
