Job Summary
Lead a Land Development team while building and managing relationships with key clients, operating with integrity and sound business principles. Provide vision, business planning, and strategy to establish goals and grow the practice. Transition work to qualified staff, mentor employees, and direct resources effectively to manage projects profitably. Enjoy significant autonomy to lead, direct, and grow your business within the Riverside, CA practice. This role offers a base salary range of $150,000 - $260,000 plus performance-based bonuses. Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of relevant experience managing land development projects
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the State of California
- Extensive client contacts and relationships with local architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners and/or land owners
- Strong technical skills with AutoCAD Civil3D
- Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work
- Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
- Ability to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner
- Demonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably
