Job Summary
Lead a Land Development team by operating with integrity, providing business strategy, and establishing clear goals while building positive client relationships. Manage projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, and grow the practice through mentorship and open communication with partners. Direct resources effectively to advance the business with significant autonomy, leveraging extensive local contacts to drive growth. This role offers a base salary of $145,000 to $250,000 plus performance-based bonuses, with potential to advance to ownership. Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of relevant experience managing land development projects
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the State of California
- Extensive client contacts and relationships with local architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners and/or land owners
- Strong technical skills with AutoCAD Civil3D
- Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work
- Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
- Ability to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner
- Demonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably
