Job Summary
Lead a Land Development team while building and managing relationships with key clients. Provide vision, business planning, and strategy to establish goals and grow the practice. Operate with integrity and sound business principles to manage projects profitably. Transition work to qualified staff and mentor team members with open communication. Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of relevant experience managing land development projects
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the State of California
- Extensive client contacts and relationships with local architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners and/or land owners
- Strong technical skills with AutoCAD Civil3D
- Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work
- Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
- Ability to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner
- Demonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably
