Job Summary
Lead environmental planning projects, manage relationships with key clients, and drive business development across Southern California markets. Establish practice vision, develop business plans and strategy, and mentor planning team members while cross-selling multiple disciplines. Operate with integrity to grow and direct an environmental planning practice with significant autonomy, potentially advancing to ownership. Requires 15+ years of experience managing environmental projects in Southern California, including CEQA/NEPA expertise and local agency relationships. Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in a related field
- 15+ or more years of experience managing environmental projects in Southern California
- Client contacts and relationships with local municipalities, county, regional and state agencies
- Business development and marketing experience including experience writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected work
- Strong background and experience in CEQA/NEPA
- Experience leading, mentoring and managing staff in a positive manner
- Ability to cross sell multiple disciplines
