Job Summary
Lead a Land Development team by building and managing relationships with key clients while operating with integrity and sound business principles. Provide vision, business planning, and strategy to establish goals, then grow and mentor staff to transition work to qualified personnel. Manage projects profitably with autonomy to direct and grow your business, ensuring open communication with partners. Demonstrate the ability to manage resources effectively and act as a positive leader. This role offers a great deal of autonomy with the potential to advance to ownership and includes an impressive bonus program.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of relevant experience managing land development projects
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- Extensive client contacts and relationships with local architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners and/or land owners
- Strong technical skills with AutoCAD Civil3D
- Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work
- Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
- Ability to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner
- Demonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably
