Job Summary
Lead and expand the Aviation practice in Orange, CA by managing relationships with key clients and operating with integrity and sound business principles. Review design documents and drawings for airside and landside projects, including grading, drainage, pavement design, and construction safety plans. Prepare analysis reports supporting airport planning, design, and construction while providing vision, business planning, and strategy. Transition work to qualified staff and mentor team members to grow the business. Manage projects profitably with autonomy to direct resources and establish goals. Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of relevant experience managing airport design and construction projects
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- Strong technical skills with AutoCAD Civil3D
- Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work
- Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably
