Senior Project Manager – Power Generation

Job Summary
Senior Project Manager to lead delivery of complex energy infrastructure projects, including utility-scale CT and CCGT plants and behind-the-meter (BTM) distributed energy solutions (BESS, fuel cells, CHP, hybrid systems, microgrids). Responsible for full lifecycle project execution, stakeholder management, and interfaces with EPC contractors and OEMs. Manage capital budgets from $100M to $2B+, schedule governance from Level 1–3, risk, commercial, and contract strategies, and ensure compliance with HSSE, regulatory, interconnection, and permitting requirements. Lead multi-disciplinary teams, support business development in energy transition and resiliency initiatives, produce formal project status reports, and drive continuous improvement, cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance. Position requires on-site presence with potential variations based on client needs; PMP or equivalent preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 10–15+ years’ experience in power generation and/or distributed energy
- Experience delivering CT/CCGT projects and/or BTM solutions (BESS, fuel cells, CHP, microgrids)
- Strong understanding of gas turbine and steam cycle systems
- Experience with EPC, EPCM, or owner’s engineer environments
- PMP or equivalent preferred
