Senior Project Manager Plant Design (Nuclear)

Lead the delivery of design work packages within the Temelin nuclear plant design programme, reporting to the Programme Manager and collaborating with Engineering Managers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Responsibilities include maintaining robust project plans, forecasting and managing finances with Cost Engineers, coordinating cross-functional engineering and programme teams, identifying and mitigating risks, providing clear reporting and escalation, fostering a high-performing team environment, capturing lessons learned, and engaging with external stakeholders as required. Required capabilities include proven project management expertise for complex, multi-year engineering projects, strong planning/scheduling/budgeting/risk/change management skills, familiarity with nuclear industry principles and regulatory frameworks, experience with conventional island/Balance of Plant programmes, understanding how engineering, procurement, construction, and regulatory activities interface, and effective communication with diverse stakeholders. Candidates should have a degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience, project management certification or equivalent experience, and BPSS/DBS eligibility; willingness to engage in additional screening per nuclear industry safety regulations. Hybrid working arrangement in the UK is offered.
