Job Summary
Senior Project Manager within Olympus' Project Execution Office responsible for planning and executing large, complex product development/technology projects from requirements analysis to launch. Leads multi-functional and global core teams, drives program schedules and budgets, develops business cases, assesses risk, and ensures deliverables meet customer requirements and objectives. Manages stakeholder communication, resource planning, and adherence to the R&D Product Development Process (PDP); leverages cross-functional expertise to bring products from concept to market releases. Emphasizes governance, prioritization, and continuous improvement across projects in a hybrid work arrangement in Westborough, MA and Minneapolis, MN.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree preferably in Bio Medical Engineering, Med Tech, Business.
- Minimum of 6 years of cross-functional project experience, with a demonstrated track record of bringing products from concept to market release.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a regulated industry preferably Medical Device or Med Tech R&D/engineering.
- Experience with applicable FDA/PMDA guidance, ISO 13485 regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively deliver engaging and impactful training sessions.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of Project Management methodologies, tools, and techniques, including, but not limited to: Project and Portfolio management tools, Strategic Business Planning, Resource management, Working within and leading the Core Team Model, Lean and Agile Product Development methodologies.
