Job Summary
Manage Project Managers across large and small projects to ensure on-schedule completion within or below budget per contractual obligations. Initiate goals for project managers and oversee delivery of the Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan. Act as the company representative with clients and subcontractors, negotiating scope changes and collaborating with Business Development to secure additional work. Monitor project activity, report progress to the Country Manager, and devise action plans to rectify cost overruns or delays. Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture, 20+ years in construction and design management, and advanced leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or related field
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in construction and design management, with a strong focus on luxury hospitality projects
- Thorough knowledge of program management, capabilities, and skills in engineering principles
- Strategic mindset of industry best practices and regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with client, corporate, and their project managers on technical and non-technical subjects
- Advanced leadership skills with ability to perform in a management capacity
- Advanced knowledge of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on the project
