Job Summary
Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale transmission projects from planning through construction, including scheduling, budgeting, and oversight. Manage contractors and field activities to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to construction standards; coordinate cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to maintain alignment and drive project progress; identify and manage risks and adjust plans to meet schedule and cost expectations; utilize project management tools, data, and reporting to track performance and support decision-making. Requires experience leading infrastructure or utility projects across full lifecycle, with accountability for construction execution; strong expertise in planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and PMO/stage-gate processes; field operations and QA/QC oversight; ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority; and strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
- Experience leading complex infrastructure or utility projects, including full lifecycle delivery with accountability for construction execution
- Strong expertise in project management disciplines, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and structured PMO/stage-gate processes
- Demonstrated experience in field operations, contractor management, and QA/QC oversight to ensure safe and high-quality execution
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage contractors, and influence without direct authority
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
